This is the section where all material shipped for refining is received.
It plays a pivotal role in distributing the tasks inside the facility and maintaining proper communication among the different sections, taking into consideration client needs.
After weighing the material, a temporary metal receipt is issued and delivered to the customer.
The material which is said to contain gold is then sent to the foundry for melting and production of homogenized bars.
Samples are taken and coded before sending to the laboratory for assaying.
It also is responsible for adjusting weight of finished gold and silver bars and issuing of certificates for finished bars. It also supervises the gold and silver delivery operations.
This section is run by two staff members.
In accordance with our control measures, one staff member reports to the Production Manager, and the other one reports to the Finance Manager.
The staff members in this division keep track of all the gold, including samples, in separate logbooks for each and every division. All deliveries made or taken by the vault division are usually based on actual weight.
Weekly Refinery and Foundry Reports are prepared by this division and delivered to the General Manager to monitor performance.
